The NPL Football Academy is delighted to announce that Leek Town student Aaron Hall is progressing onto University.
Aaron joined the pilot programme in 2014 and this summer successfully completed his BTEC in Sport Level 3 Diploma.
He has now gained a position at York St John University to study Sport Science and Injury Rehabilitation for three years. Aaron’s goal is to eventually become a Physiotherapist or Sports Masseur and would eventually like to get back involved with the NPL Football Academy once he has completed his studies.
Hall stated “I’ve had a great time on the NPL Football Academy at Leek Town over the last two years, it is a great programme. I joined in its pilot year and during that time it has grown more and more and I would definitely recommend the programme to others in the area especially at the rate the programme is improving and the opportunities it can provide for young people in sport. I would love to do it all over again and even come back and be involved after university.”
Everyone at the NPL Football Academy would like to wish Aaron all the best in his time in higher education. If he works as hard as he has done over the last two years then he will go on to have a very successful career.
