The first round of the NPLFA Cup has been drawn with ties to take place on Wednesday 6th December.

Introduced last season, the NPLFA Cup was won by Warrington Town in a tight final against Matlock Town at Stoke City’s Bet365 Stadium, the venue that will once again host this years final on Monday 14th May, 6.30pm.

An NPLFA spokesman said, “We are delighted to announce we have brought the game forward allowing us to get the complete experience of playing at a Premier League stadium before they begin their yearly pitch renovations” 

He added “The club (Stoke City) have been fantastic and have really supported our vision of giving the players a fantastic experience with the Premier League season just finished and before they begin the pitch reconstruction”
