Warrington Town are based in Cheshire and have been the town’s main football team since 1949.
The Yellows first joined the Northern Premier League in 1990 before spending 7 years away in the North West Counties after relegation in 1997. They returned as champions in 2004 and have been in the First Division ever since, currently competing in the First Division North where they remain one of the strongest teams.
Reached Wembley in 1987 in the FA Vase final where they were defeated by local rivals St Helens Town.
Warrington were in the national spotlight in November 2014 when they became giant killers of the FA Cup, defeating League Two side Exeter City in front of the BBC cameras.
Currently in their first season in the NPL Football Academy after joining in 2015.
Euan Woods is the first student to have first team involvement when he was on the bench in their Cheshire Cup tie against Northwich Manchester Villa in January 2016.
